Managing Your discovery+ Subscription

Managing and making changes to your discovery+ subscription can be done through the device you used to sign up for your subscription or on discoveryplus.com. If you upgrade your subscription to discovery+ (Ad-Free), the charge for your current limited-ad plan will be refunded, and you will be charged for the ad-free plan. An upgrade to your subscription plan will take effect immediately. A plan downgrade will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

If you subscribed to discovery+ via the discovery+ website, or on the Magnolia app or website, you must sign in to your account at discoveryplus.com and follow the web instructions below to make any changes. A link to dicoveryplus.com can be accessed from the Manage Your Account page on the Magnolia app and website.

Web

Upgrading Subscription:

1. Visit discoveryplus.com from your mobile phone or computer and sign in using your discovery+ email address and password.
2. Select the account icon at the top right of your screen to open the dropdown menu.
3. Choose "Account" from the dropdown menu.
4. On the "Manage Your Account" screen, select "Change Plan" in the Plans section.
5. Select the Ad-Free plan.

Downgrading Subscriptions:

1. Visit discoveryplus.com from your mobile phone or computer and sign in using your discovery+ email address and password.
2. Select the account icon at the top right of your screen to open the dropdown menu.
3. Choose "Account" from the dropdown menu.
4. On the "Manage Your Account" screen, select "Change Plan" in the Plans section.
5. Select the limited-ad plan.

iPad/iPhone

Upgrading Subscriptions:

1. On your iPad/iPhone, navigate to Settings under your Apple ID.
2. Under your Account, select "Subscriptions."
3. Cancel the current plan you're subscribed to.
4. Subscribe to the Ad-Free plan.

Downgrading Subscriptions:

1. On your iPad/iPhone, navigate to Settings under your Apple ID.
2. Under your Account, select "Subscriptions."
3. Cancel the current plan you're subscribed to.
4. Subscribe to the limited-ad plan.

Android

Upgrading Subscriptions:

1. From Google Play Store, open the sidebar menu using the hamburger button.
2. Select "Subscriptions."
3. Select the discovery+ app.
4. Select "Cancel."
5. Go back into the discovery+ app and choose the Ad-Free plan.

Downgrading Subscriptions:  

1. From the Google Play Store, open the sidebar menu using the hamburger button.
2. Select "Subscriptions."
3. Select the discovery+ app.
4. Select "Cancel."
5. Go back into the discovery+ app and choose the limited-ad plan
